ClayTrail — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

ClayTrail does not collect anything. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. Everything you put into the app stays on your phone.

What the app stores

Your pots — their photos, names, clay, glaze notes and finished notes — and anything you save under Inspiration. All of it is written to a database inside the app's own private storage on your device.

What leaves your phone

Nothing, unless you ask for it:

Subscriptions and payment

ClayTrail is sold as a subscription through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, the billing and any cancellation entirely. Your payment details go to Apple and are never seen by, sent to, or stored by this app or its developer. The app receives only a yes-or-no answer about whether a subscription is currently active, and that answer never leaves your device in a form that identifies you.

Permissions the app asks for

Each one is asked for the first time you use that feature, and declining it only affects that feature.

Children

ClayTrail is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and the entire book goes with it, permanently. There is no copy anywhere else for us to delete, because there was never a copy anywhere else. Take a backup first if you want to keep it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
